Caldicot Coronation Street Party

Caldicot Town Team are organising a huge Street party in Caldicot Town centre to celebrate the King’s Coronation on 6th May 2023. 

The event, which is going to be located in Caldicot Town Centre will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023 to celebrate the King’s Coronation. You can join us, local residents and businesses as we watch the proceedings on our huge live screen, take part in the bring and share, browse the British Window displays of local businesses and soak up the festive atmosphere in Caldicot Town centre, all for free. 

We have competitions and crafts for the little ones, including a competition for the best designed Crown and lots of fund arts and crafts for them to take part in, inside CORE, 43 Newport Road.

A competition will take place for the best dressed window for businesses, giving inspiration to go all out for this unique event.

Similar to our 2018 Royal Wedding event, we are asking for people to ‘bring and share’ food with everyone on the day, we want your best British cakes, meals, deserts and treats to be shared around on our ‘coronation table’ in the town centre.

We have a big screen which will show the main elements of the King’s Coronation live and like our royal wedding event, we will be providing tables and chairs.

There will also be a selection of board games, card games taking place throughout the day.

With so much going on throughout the day, this free event is a great way to be part of something special, right here in Caldicot.
